By the time of their wedding, Sofia and João were living and working in Barcelona. Until the day of the session, I had only met Sofia once to discuss a few details, so I only met João on the day of the shoot.

They chose to do the session around the Botanical Garden and the University of Coimbra. Sofia, with her easy smile and talkative nature (though also nervous!), was paired with João, who at first was still getting used to being photographed but always relaxed! It didn’t take long for both of them to put aside their initial shyness and nervousness about being in front of the camera and show what they truly are—a loving and extremely fun couple!
