Pedido Casamento no Porto

Doing a photoshoot in Oporto city it's always a great adventure. It's a city with a very unique aura and atmosphere, countless corners to explore, and it always gives a special pleasure to go back there.

The premise for this day was simple. Patrícia and Emanuel were celebrating 10 years of dating and wanted to mark the occasion with a photo session in the incredible city of Porto. A fan of craft beer, Emanuel insisted on starting the session at one of his favorite spots, and that became our starting point for the day. As I said, the premise was meant to be simple, but after a stroll through the streets and hidden corners of Porto, Emanuel told me he had a surprise for Patrícia… And what better backdrop could we choose than the city of Porto itself for… yes, exactly, a marriage proposal! 

Not without a little panic attack first, though. Between Emanuel's nerves in front of Patrícia and the moment he opened the box, the ring flew out and rolled around on the ground for a few seconds, which triggered an uncontrollable fit of laughter from Patrícia.

I think the photos speak for themselves! It was an incredible afternoon filled with laughter and the certainty that these two will certainly be very happy. What was supposed to be a session celebrating 10 years of dating turned into something even more special with the marriage proposal at the end. And a "Finally!!" from Patrícia!
